About Arlene

Arlene Ladegaard has over 2 decades of experience as an interior designer. She began her studies in fashion design at Stevens College. Then found her passion in interior design at the University of Arizona. She continued to take additional courses in interior design at UCLA.  She later taught interior design classes in California. She is a Professional Member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) , Allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers),  a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California, and a member of NARI (National Association for the Remodeling Industry). She worked extensively in the Los Angeles/Santa Monica area, lived and studied in Switzerland and France, and re-established her business in the Kansas City Metro area in 1998. She prides herself in listening to clients desires and needs and helping to transform their interior spaces. She is comfortable working in contemporary, traditional, or any mixture of design styles.
